Does my child need a ticket to travel?

A child under two (2) years of age does not require a ticket to travel but must be secured in the adults/guardians lap for the duration of the trip for safety purposes.

If traveling with more than one (1) child under the age of two (2), a ticket should be purchased for the second child and the child should be secured safely in the seat next to the guardian.

If traveling on a bus with seat belts a child safety seat is allowed for use on the bus. You should ensure that your child seat has been approved for use in a motor vehicle and is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Note:
If the coach has seat belts, the child safety seat can be used if a seat is available to accommodate the child safety seat. A ticket must be purchased at the discounted child fare if using a child safety seat
